A photograph of the goddess Durga from Hindu mythology. She has eight arms, each holding a weapon, namely, sword, shield, bow & arrow, conch, discus, bell, and mace. The other two arms hold the trident, impaling the demon Mahishasura at her feet with a serene expression while sitting on a lion. The large idol is sculpted beautifully and adorned with jewels and detailed clothing. This style of idol sculpting is usually seen in West Bengal, India.
